Just south of Pleiku, I waited in a Montagnard village for the arrival of an elephant which would take me through tribal lands toward a waterfall. Within minutes I was surrounded by dozens of villagers, especially children.
Where is the elephant?

This tribal woman was very proud to show off her beautiful and healthy baby. The morning temperature is probably around 70 degrees.

I met this little guy as I prowled all over the airstrip at Khe Sanh. He's standing on the still very hard packed runway.
